Who Is GW2's WEAKEST Citron?

I'm not happy about this... it's the least controversial take and I'm STILL not happy :(

He’s basically toxic engineer without a way to damage zombies, but he also looks delicious tbh

His DPS is literally worse than Park Ranger and Alien Flower, who LITERALLY have the same gimmick (damage over time in a small area, but have bad direct shot damage)

He’s honestly fun as a sniper, just being able to sit back and whittle down either crowds or important targets while having the ball for instant mobility, the shield for tanking, 200 hp, etc. if you don’t play him like a regular citron you really can get a lot done. He’s obviously not a dps sniper like cactus is but you can really threaten rooftop snipers with your gas and shield to tank the zpg that leaves them super vulnerable, and approaching super Brainz hate taking the chip regardless of how little it is. Softening up the capture point is great and he really shines of defense when you can just spread the poison through an incoming attack. As long as your teammates do anything at all, toxic citron can be tons of fun. He’s also just a beast against unsuspecting imps since they can’t do any silly
maneuvers to avoid your toxic aura and you can finish them with the ball. His only weakness is a backline scientist with a heal station but there’s so much counter play for your team, like shuck shot or just shooting in general. I love toxic citron so much

honestly if they only changed the tacobilities system to never be random upgrades and allow you to use on any plant no matter what (alongside activating plant food instantly imo) the system would be way more fun and it would involve LESS CODE

Toxic Citron can hardly get kills… but as a support it’s incredible

It's so tragic. Befors all Citrons were reworked a long time ago, he and Electro were two of the better Citrons in the class, and now he's just in a sad state. What a tragic fall from grace.

Honestly even if he's the weakest. He for me is the only fun citron. Like reg ice and party have weird felling primary. And iron is only good if you have all upgrades. Electro is situational good. I just wish There were more cloud damage characters. Especially on the zombie side

Citron is like one of the most well balanced classes among the variants. Reg is good, ice is weaker but slows so can secure kills easier, party is a little weaker but the meter is more than enough to weigh up for it, electric can spam well and iron is iron

I honestly just use him for crowd control. Just because something isn't good for vanquishing doesn't mean it's bad entirely
