Anthony Joshua TOLD ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE IN SIZE AND POWER BEFORE THE FIGHT WITH Alexander Usyk

The first left-handed American champion in the history of heavyweight, Michael Moorer, shared his opinion about Ukrainian Alexander Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs).

According to the legend of the ring, the 35-year-old athlete from Ukraine is head and shoulders above all active boxers due to his huge amateur experience and honed skills.

"Alexander Usyk is a phenomenal boxer," Moorer said in an interview with Tru School Sports, "And there is no one I see as a favorite against him, because Usyk has height, arm span, and he knows how to fight. None of today's fighters will beat Usyk, because he has a great school. He boxed in amateurs all his career, opposed various styles. He can fight anyone and beat them."

When asked how he would have defeated someone like Usyk if he had been at the peak, Moorer answered the following:

"I wouldn't get away from him. I would stay close to not give space. After all, if I had succeeded, it would not have been effective. I would impose close combat on him, not allowing myself to be kept on the edge of his blows."

Earlier, the potential date and venue of Usyk's rematch with Briton Anthony Joshua, whom he beat in September last year, became known.

Mike Coppinger, a well-known insider and ESPN journalist, citing his sources, reports that the rematch between the WBA Super, WBO and IBF world champion Ukrainian Alexander Usyk and Briton Anthony Joshua will take place on August 20 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

"Sources told ESPN that a rematch for the heavyweight title between Alexander Usyk and Anthony Joshua is scheduled for August 20th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Initially, the fight was planned for July 23, but now Joshua will get an additional 30 days to work with new coach Robert Garcia," Coppinger wrote.

British heavyweight David Price believes that his compatriot Anthony Joshua risks an early defeat in a rematch with the WBA, WBO and IBF world champion in their division Alexander Usyk.

"If Joshua chooses an aggressive path, then it will be open. I think Usyk hits hard enough to knock him out. As for me, he miscalculated Joshua in the first fight. I think there will be more drama in the rematch anyway. If Joshua loses, he will leave on the shield. I don't think it will come to the judges' notes.

Joshua is able to put an end to the fight, because he is a great finisher, but the Mustache is just like a Matrix. He showed a different style, which is not often seen," said David Price

Undefeated British heavyweight Joe Joyce shared his opinion about the sensational visit of his compatriot and division rival Anthony Joshua to the students of Loughborough University.

In May, Joshua heard insults addressed to him from a group of drunk students, after which he came to their dorm and held a conversation in raised tones, threatening to break their jaws.

Joyce believes that this behavior indicates AJ's psychological problems.

"He talks, and this conversation seems very philosophical, but it really looks staged. However, when Joshua breaks his image like that, you realize that something is happening. That's why I say he lost his head a little. He snaps.

Even this conversation with students should be like water off a goose for Joshua, he should not influence him. You don't have to go there and bully them, do you?" said Joe Joyce.

The WBC, IBF and WBO light heavyweight world champion Artur Beterbiev said that in the future he is ready to rise to the first heavyweight and even heavyweight division, which is now dominated by his principal amateur rival Alexander Usyk.

"Will I stay in the light heavyweight division if I beat Dmitry Bivol and become the absolute world champion? This is an interesting question. I'll need to think about him after the fight. First I would go up to the first heavyweight, and then to the heavyweight. I'm interested in winning another title. I hope my promoter will arrange this for me.

Does the fact that Usyk became a heavyweight champion motivate me? Yes, he did a good job, but we'll see," Artur Beterbiev said during a conversation with reporters after the fight with Joe Smith.

Derek Chisora beat Usyke, and the judgement against Chisora with regards his fight against Usyke was unfair.
