In this video, I will guide you through creating a detailed floor plan in AutoCAD, step by step, with precise dimensions and commands. We'll start by drawing the outer boundary and work our way through the rooms, washrooms, and other key areas.
Step 1: Drawing the Outer Boundary
Start by drawing the outer boundary using the Line Command with total dimensions of 50 feet (length) by 40 feet (width).
Step 2: Creating the Rear Open Area
Draw the Rear Open Area with a width of 29 feet 11 inches and a length of 5 feet.
Step 3: Adding the First Washroom
Next, create the Washroom on the right side with dimensions of 5 feet (length) by 7 feet 10 inches (width).
Step 4: Adding the Second Washroom
Draw the second Washroom with dimensions of 5 feet 8 inches (length) by 6 feet 11 inches (width).
Step 5: Creating the Dresser
Attach the Dresser to the second washroom with dimensions of 9 feet 9 inches (length) by 6 feet 11 inches (width).
Step 6: Drawing the Bedrooms
The first Bedroom has dimensions of 16 feet 2 inches (length) by 18 feet 1 inch (width).
The second Bedroom has dimensions of 16 feet 2 inches (length) by 12 feet (width).
Step 7: Creating the Store Room
Add the Store Room with dimensions of 5 feet 11 inches (length) by 6 feet 11 inches (width).
Step 8: Drawing the Lobby Dining Area
The Lobby Dining Area has a width of 20 feet 1 inch.
Step 9: Adding the Open Kitchen
The Open Kitchen has dimensions of 9 feet (length) by 10 feet (width).
Step 10: Creating the Laundry Area (L. Dry)
Before the store room, create the Laundry Area (L. Dry) with dimensions of 3 feet 8 inches (length) by 6 feet 11 inches (width).
Step 11: Drawing the Guest Room
The Guest Room has dimensions of 9 feet 5 inches (length) by 13 feet 9 inches (width).
Step 12: Adding the Guest Room's Washroom
Attach the washroom to the guest room with dimensions of 5 feet 10 inches (length) by 8 feet 9 inches (width).
Step 13: Marking the Parking Car Area
The Parking Car Area has dimensions of 11 feet 6 inches (length) by 14 feet 6 inches (width).
Step 14: Creating the Front Open Area
Finally, draw the Front Open Area with dimensions of 3 feet 10 inches (length) by 38 feet 6 inches (width).
