Would like to run fresh care only without going through a complete cycle is there any way to do this? Also, when you want to just dry clothes a little more and you press the dry button it adds water to the tub is this normal?

LG designed the lint trap way better than GE did with their 2 in 1.

Will this machine alert you when the detergent needs to be refilled? Hard to tell when you're running low without disassembling the tray.

@LGUSASupport I've had this unit for a few weeks and have been praising how cool the lint trap design is. But a couple of days ago, for no apparent reason, I cannot remove the outer filter from the machine anymore. It feels like something is physically blocking it. I spent almost two hours with customer support and the best they could do was send me a link to this video that is completely unhelpful.

I received the unit broken upon arrival, and it malfunctioned during the first wash, displaying a pump error. My experience with the LG warranty process has been incredibly frustrating. I have now been without a washer and dryer for over 3 weeks.

Given that customer service and warranty support are crucial aspects of a product's value, I would advise against purchasing this unit. At the very least, consider getting an extended warranty. Personally, I would recommend opting for a competitor instead after dealing with LG.

Perhaps I just had bad luck, but if LG's quality assurance and testing are so inadequate that the unit fails during the first wash, it raises serious concerns about the long-term reliability of their components.
