I have that 1 to 1 ratio problem with my water pump/fan pully too with my 340 Dart. Going down the highway in the summer 90' F it runs at 190' F no problem but get stuck in traffic and that fan is spinning around like an old Dutch windmill at idle. When we built the engine we couldn't find a smaller pully so I'm getting one made

I need help from a shop like this, can’t find anyone to help me with my 98 s10 v8 350 sbc swap. I have an aluminum three core radiator and dual fans on a shroud, pulling air through the radiator and I still can’t keep it from overheating after about 20-30 minutes of driving.

Man, wish you guys were in Sacramento, ca. I've got a 65 gt mustang that has a cooling problem. Interestingly enough it cooled too well before I put a sniper efi system on it. Now, according to my mechanic, the radiator stays 180f while the engine gets up to 220f. I doubt it's the radiator and electric fan. Very frustrating.

Great video. I'm liking the Fords. Do you use something to fill in the 1 inch gap between the radiator and core support my 65 mustang has?
Also have you ever tried an oil cooler to help lower engine temperature?
Lastly what are your thoughts on installing heat extractor louvers in the hood to evacuate the hot air?

1971 351c that temp climbs when not moving, stock radiator, fan and shroud. What temp is considered dangerous and could improper timing be a cause?
