One of our students by the name of Mohamed from Pakistan reached out to us asking how he can clear the IELTS exam in his first attempt of writing the test. So in today's video I'm going to provide you with the most important tips you need to know on how to clear the IELTS exam in your first attempt. So my first tip is that you need to study the exact IELTS exam format. You need to know what to expect in every part of the examination. And then you need to identify your weak points. So if you know that you are not so good in IELTS writing, for example, and you need help in the writing part, then you need to concentrate on that exact section of the IELTS exam because once you identify your weak point, you need to just concentrate on that particular section.

The second tip I have for you is that once you identify your weak point, you need to break it down and to make a study routine. Now for example, if your weakness is an IELTS writing part two, which is an essay you need to write within 40 minutes, then you need to be able to say, okay, on Monday I'm going to concentrate on how to write an introduction On Tuesday I'm going to concentrate on how to write my first body paragraph, and so on and so forth. Guys, and guys, last but not least, the third step in how to score a Band eight in your first attempt of writing the IELTS exam is that you need to make an effort to look up new vocabulary words you don't understand. So practice saying the word in a sentence with a friend, uh, who is fluent in the English language or I'd love if you are able to write me a comment in the comment section down below if you learn a new vocabulary word. And I will let you know if you are using it in the right context or not.

To how A word is pronounced. As an experienced IELTS Coach, I've seen so many students who are advanced in English who know amazing grammar, and who have amazing vocabulary Skills, But they don't know how to pronounce certain words. In the IELTS Speaking section, it's extremely important that you learn how to pronounce and say Certain words. You Need To Practice Your pronunciation skills every day.

And the reason Why I Highly recommend this is obviously, as we all know, the More we practice something, The better we become at it. And the thing is, you may have learned English in the past at a school, but most likely the teacher did not emphasize on pronunciation. So if you are able to practice your pronunciation every single day for five to 10 minutes, then you will be sure that you are able to pronounce certain words that are not difficult, uh, to say on exam day as an experienced.
