0:00 The title screen doesn't go to the gameplay demo / opening movie, but the music still fades out expecting the scene to switch.

0:16 Selecting the final OK button to start the race doesn't play the sound correctly.

0:21 Missing wheelie sound effect. The item box roulette sounds wrong.

0:41 The item siren sound effect doesn't play properly.

0:50 Missing triple shell sound effect.

0:52 Missing shell sound effect.

0:57 Upong finishing the race, there's no audio delay for both the fanfare and the character voice clip. Additionally, the "show results" and "score increase" sound effect play slightly faster (probably because there's no audio delay as well?). This also includes the "show results" sound on the awards ceremony.

01:13 The background music starts immediatly when the countdown finishes (in the regular game there's a tiny delay). There's no sound effect for Lakitu telling you you're going backwards.

01:27 Driving above wood makes the sound effect play much faster than in the regular game, so it sounds like you're going much faster. Additionally, when falling off, the character "recover" sound plays immediatly upon respawning (in the regular game there's a small delay). Lakitu doesn't emit a siren sound effect either.

01:56 If playing on 3/4 Player multiplayer, the game will noticeably slow down, and you won't be able to see anything, aside of some effects and the HUD. Curiously, if playing on DK Summit, the camera will be stuck inside a Shy Guy.

if you could include some of the text from the description in the CCs instead it would be easier to watch the video imo. cool stuff

TCRF mentions that this game loop is part of EGG and is shared across games. Do you know what the name of the function is?
