I can’t see Russia demanding anything reasonable. The Kremlin wants Ukraine to be under its sphere of influence. Ukraine wants to be independent of Russian control. That is what this war is about.

For as long as Russia continues to occupy Ukrainian lands, Ukraine’s only option to ensure its sovereignty is to remove Russian occupiers by force.

A lasting peace cannot be achieved by rewarding Russia for its aggressive actions. It will only encourage more.
