Max is just ruthless, no driving mistakes in a extremely competent car, with great race pace & strategy. Deadly combination.

He is so talented that racing is just on instinct and he has 90% brain capacity left during a race to take care of other things (like hearing Helmuts phone ring over the radio) without making any mistakes....

What amazes me the most is that he's still so young and can still evolve even more.

The so-called scary truth is stated around 4:50. Max is "in a league of his own" and "he's raised the bar so high that everything else seems ordinary." Um, I'm pretty sure plenty of people have noticed that.

I think Max is the most instinctively gifted racing driver that I’ve seen come into F1 in a very long time. Blisteringly fast and unhumanly consistent. I know a lot of people don’t like him but you have to give the lad credit. He’s one of the best in the business and up with the most able F1 drivers we’ve ever seen.

I still watch Brasil 2016 every now and then. That was magic. It was like his first win, only better.

Max was not born raised, he was created and forged. His parents are drivers, then he has the propper genes to the job. Jos was determinated to create the ultimate driver, so, he named his son Max (Greatest in latin) Emillian (Eager, Rival, Laborious or Imitantig in slavic, romanian and latin), a fierce name for a boy. Then, when boy Max was interested in races, his father created the strictest, harshest, most hardworking and immersive environment to forge him like a ruthless dwarf to his offspring. Jos wanted Max not to make his mistakes when he was a driver in the 90's/2000's. So, he went full juggernaut on max with questionable behavior. Nowadays, Max is a mix of traumas, Schumacher driving style, Senna's raw talent and ruthlessness and Nelson Piquet's personality and cunningness with Dutch flavour. Jos is despicable, but he created a potencial legend with huge chances to dominate every motorsport category possible.

Not only the best current driver, he is a nice guy too.

Any sport, F1 you can't compare eras. A sport evolves: training techniques, economics, geopolitics...Max has to finish his career too. Post-mortem makes emotional analysis for Senna although he sure is a top 5 in my book. I really think the Flying Scot and the Red Baron are the bests i.e. look at their low poles vs wins in total races, the stories told by people. Senna-Prost must have been a crazy show to see!

YES! Im not an F! fan but after seeing verstappen's qualifying lap in the saudi gp in 21, even though he crashed i got goosebumps man. He really gave me the Senna Vibe there even right down to him tapping the wall. Can't help but feel that that is the same mentality Senna had.
Honestly im just super happy to be able to experience such a talent in my lifetime.

Monaco 2015 wasnt Verstappen been an aggressive drive, it was Grosjean being a bad driver

The not so well known part of verstapen is the fact that he is also a gamer... When he comes home he relaxes by playing plays sims like iRacing, Assetto Corsa and others. Thats where his agressive style of driving comes from. He makes the mistakes in games so he knows where to push out that extra 2 km/h where other drivers just can't risk it.

His dedication is crazy. Sim racing when he's not F1 racing is wild. Extremely few could match his passion for the sport.

Monaco Grosjean incident was a deplorable action by Grosjean, not Verstappen, coasting in a part of the track which doesn't suit coasting.

I remember one person who wrote somewhere on YouTube, I think in 2019, that he was afraid of what would happen if Verstappen got a car like Mercedes had in 2019. And that's exactly what happened. And the RB19 was not nearly as dominant as the F1 W10 EQ Power+ was that year. Same can be said about 2020.

I have never seen a driver so talented since Michael. Lewis doesn’t even come close.

He will be GOAT of F1, he is only 26 with GP 54 wins and 3 WC. At that age Schumi and Lewis was on under 20 GP wins. Less races then for Schumi, bu still, Max is crazy talented.

The only thing that can stop Max Verstappen is the chequered flag.

It isn't just Gasly, Albon, Ricciardo or Sainz, the fact is, Max would even end Lewis' career if he was in the same seat.

That drive when he took his father to spa. How calm he looked taking those corners at such high speed. His father was stunned. . I believe the sim racing he does helps aid this
