In this video I replace the glowplugs, controller relay and ABS module on my father's old F-250 7.3 IDI turbo diesel. If your truck is not wanting to start when it is cold outside you may need a new set of glow plugs or controller / relay. Links to the parts used in this video below:

Good looking old truck. And it's got the old international 7.3

Hell yeah man! I found those same blue connectors worked perfectly for my 7.3 I think the issue with the relay is the damn water running down the hood since there’s no proper drip edging or gasket

That little compression ring on the hard line between the filter head and injection pump at the pump end, same as other, came apart after 1 year and caused white smoke from the tail pipe and a no start, while I went to the glow plugs because clicking at first, shoulda heard this puppy growl when I cut 2 rings from the return lines and used them in place till I can find something that doesn't come apart.

Great video. Have you ever seen this truck shut down and smoke come out of the breather.. I have a 7.3, 93 diesel idi. I can't figure out why it does this . I replaced the glow plug relay then tadah I got this.

It look like you was getting air on the line because of the leak it did start pretty quickI am almost sure you didn't have to change them

i cut the white wire on my glow pug controller and installed a electric water heater temperature switch in between the white wires so the glow plugs only works when its cold my glow plugs been in my engine for seven years now with no problem

Cold start and run it up over 3000 rpm’s? Why trying to throw a rod

How did you bleed the abs module? Did you just bleed it like the wheel cylinders through the bleed screw or did you have to did something different?

It's kind of weird, I've got a '93 F250 and both of these problems came on at the same time, just like yours.

What trick did you use to get the one out directly under the turbo? I'm kinda dreading that one lol
