Honestly, it varies on how dramatic they are. I blocked one toxic ex and never heard from her again other than one of her relatives were sent to check in on me couple times. Then there was one toxic ex where i ignored her and blocked her number; that only resulted in her stalking my social media, then in real life where she “accidentally” bumped into me at a store she knew I frequent. Then one day my car tires were flat. I learned to give her the “grey rock method” and she left on her own to go bother other people. Just gotta fine tune your boundaries and see the red flags early so you don’t get the scary toxic types.
