For today’s Three Sounds reel we’re taking a look at the brand new Black Mountain Crunch Drive from Greer Amps. The Black Mountain was designed to recreate the sound and feel of classic British full stacks (you know which ones) and absolutely delivers on that goal.

The Black Mountain features a simple control layout (Volume, Gain, & Tone) and can be run at 9v or at 18v for extra headroom. While it excels at higher gain tones and makes you just want to smash out open chords and big riffs, the tones are great right across the range of the gain knob. And it’s capable of some great low gain crunch sounds. The pedal is very responsive to changes in your picking dynamics and you guitar’s volume knob
