1 D.VA TIP vs EVERY HERO (2024)

Thank you to KarQ for allowing me to take a shot of my own at the 1 TIP series. I know it helped me as well as MANY others learn OW. Hopefully I make him proud and help you guys learn something new in Overwatch 2!

Remember all of these tips are situational as is Overwatch 2 as a whole. Take in this info and limit test to learn when each of these is valuable. All in all gamesense is a marathon not a sprint and understanding matchup interactions is just 1 more tool to put you ahead of your enemies.

As a Main Dva who always gets counterplayed after the first engage here's a MEGA tip against Zarya: Focus her supports, try pressuring her to use bubbles on Zarya, then you'll have an oppening to focus supports

Another tip for dva I use a lot is when sigma ults if you have ult you can ult and the mech will stay in his ult and get him or if your not in mech and you have it ready you can call it down as he ults and it will pull you out of the ult

Amazing and practical tips I'm going to try to use since I just started learning Dva and tanking in general, but Dva feels the most fun with her mobility and dive potential! The hard part in addition to remembering all the tips (though many are intuitive which makes it easier) is figuring out how to combine all that knowledge since you're obv never facing 1-hero teams, and deciding which hero takes priority to "deal with" based on the situation. Tank you!

An additional tip vs zarya is if you can't eat the grav, in most situations it's a good idea to bomb the grav to save anyone caught in it

Another dva tip against wrecking ball is you can disrupt his pile drive with boosters to either mess it up completely or just make him unable to follow up on the character he piledrived
