A complete guide to exchange traded funds | How to buy ETFs Malaysia
Показать описание
Exchange traded funds (ETFs) are relatively new investments in Malaysia - but they are fast becoming one of the most popular investment tools in the world, and with good reason! ETFs are low cost, highly diversified and many have strong track records of consistently high returns - best of all, its beginner friendly, and you can start with any amount, even just RM10!
If it sounds too good to be true, don't take my word for it - legendary investor Warren Buffet recommends low cost index funds (which are basically what an ETFs are) to the average investor. This is because you don't need to do much research into it to make it work; and on top of that, most, if not all professional fund managers will not be able to beat the index over the long term! So really, its a good investment for both beginners and seasoned investors alike.

The local brokerage I use is Rakuten, it's easy to sign up and easy to use:
Referral link: (free Rakuten points for both of us!)
For overseas brokerages, TD Ameritrade SG/ Trade Station Global/Interactive brokers are great picks!
But if you're lazy (like me), Stashaway is my go to roboadvisor for an easy, automated monthly investment into international ETFs.
Happy investing! :D
FYI I am not a licensed financial planner, please do your research before investing - all that jazz.
