"Jessica" is an instrumental piece by American rock band the Allman Brothers Band, released in December 1973 as the second single from the group's fourth studio album, Brothers and Sisters (1973). Written by guitarist Dickey Betts, the song is a tribute to Gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, in that it was designed to be played using only two fingers on the left hand.
The song peaked best on Billboard's Easy Listening chart, where it peaked at number 29 on March 9, 1974. Although "Jessica" rose no higher than number 65 on the Hot 100, it later became a staple of classic rock radio. (Wikipedia)

Dicky's solo is unreal. No show boating just flat playing with zero wasted notes. All the solos are great.

One of the greatest songs from the greatest rock band ever. Who knew these country boys from Macon Georgia could come up with this kind of music?

One of my favorite songs by The Allman Brothers! Fast song with a great guitar solo! How about doing a video of "Blue Sky"?

I got goosebumps the first time I heard this song in 1973 and almost 50 years later I still get goosebumps right up to the crescendo at the end ! The notes, chords and arrangement Dickey wrote seems to hit me right in the heart. I can see him watching his daughter while writing it and why it feels so moving. Thank you Dickey Betts.❤

Thanks for putting this together. It's better sound quality of the great "Jessica" than any other YT uploads.

Some say this is the best Allman Brothers song ever. Some say it's one of the greatest songs ever. All we know is, he's called The Stig!

Super parabéns para este trabalho de resgatar grandes bandas da história da música, com imagens, fotos e efeitos visuais maravilhosos e por não deixar estas maravilhosas bandas caírem no esquecimento.

Georgy Porgy. - Is this the music to ‘Top Gear ‘ ? I didn’t think I knew this one but they’re all very talented players, the keyboard player is especially good, as is the guitarist. Unfortunately, I do not know the band or its members.
They’re a hell of a fantastic band. They certainly know how to rock and put a great tune together.
I missed out knowing who they
are. I know now and won’t forget them in a hurry. Fast moving tune for a fast moving programme but expertly put together. Nice 👍 ‘

There was a band in Glasgow called, Sneaky Pete, during the mid seventies who used this song as there introduction to their set and they did a very impressive rendition of it. Imitation, the sincerest form of flattery. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍
