IMO, there's no excuse, injuries happen. I don't see pundits giving excuses for Liverpool when they were beaten during their injury crisis in previous seasons (Even in last night's match, their first choice GK, RB and CF are injured).

About Mbappe, it's totally understandable that you can mess up easy chances as a forward specially when you're low in confidence but the scary part in Mbappes case guy's misplacing even passes and not from tight situations!
