WATCH NOW: Veterans History Project preserves military memories

Gerald McGowan, a retired doctor and former flight surgeon at Sioux City's 174th Tactical Fighter Squadron, is interviewed Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, at the 185th Air refueling Wing of the Iowa Air National Guard in Sioux City as part of a Library of Congress Veterans History Project. McGowan deployed with the 174th to serve in the Vietnam War.
