Η Νέα Πέραμος Καβάλας είναι παραθαλάσσια κωμόπολη της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Καβάλας, του Δήμου Παγγαίου, έδρα της Δημοτικής Ενότητας Ελευθερών. Βρίσκεται στον Όρμο Ελευθερών, 17 χλμ. νοτιοδυτικά της πόλης της Καβάλας
Nea Peramos is located approx.. 18 kilometers from Kavala, the capital of the prefecture of Kavala, directly at the beach of the picturesque bay of Eleftherai (gulf of Kavala). If the weather is clear, the view reaches from the Thassos island up to the mountains of Athos at the peninsula Halkidiki. Due to its privileged situation the village Nea Peramos represents also a good starting point for excursions into the closer and further environment.There are many destinations worth to be visited as along the coastal road with idyllic, partially even during the main season nearly unfrequented bays and beaches, as well as in the back country. Especially mention is made of the numerous historical places and buildings, the archaeological excavations and the antique places in the wider area.
