I have a game called Diamant. After doing a bit of bgg research, turns out it is the same game and designers. Different art and rule modifications. Incan gold was older and Diamant is the newer version with a recent expansion.

The nerdy strategy analysis was fun to watch. And most people just like to play with risk and sometimes someone will have very lucky run. I use this game for people who like to bet. One or two games and then go for another board game.

If you have time, consider checking out the series of Roll Player games. These are a family favorite with simple math deduction (easy enough for kids) with dice placement and a card drafting engine. The game is a dungeon style game with fantastic expansions. There is also now available Roll Player Adventures (Cooperative) story based game with expansions. Thanks again for your content.

Great pick on Diamond / Inca Gold (there are 2 ways of playing this game: with cards and with meeples). People say that this is too far luck dependent. Yes, it is, but this is so much fun. I like to play it myself. It is fully unfair, but it prepares kids for this brutal world in fully safe way :)
