I’ve been shooting with the GH4 for about 5 years myself, and finally upgraded to the GH5. I would still recommend the GH4 to anyone, the only things that hold it back in my opinion are the color science and low light performance. I feel like it’s perfectly set up for filmmaking and for starting out with the hobby. No regrets!

I don't have a ton of money, so I'm thinking I'll buy the gh4 soon. Seems like the best option for the price range, and still good in 2020. A step up from the camera I'm using!

The GH5 is king! But the GH4 is still a very good partner!! Perfect m43 B Camera. Uses the same battery, it is small, battery life is much better! I have both and I love to work with them!

aloha! I have a little question for you. How do you stabilize your video? it really bothers me in gh4 ... and the stabilizer will cost me 150-300 dollars .. does it make sense then to look towards g80, or g90? I can get g80 for the same price, but with stabilization .. and g 90 is just a little more expensive, but it has stabilization and is much more updated. What do you think about this? so much information about it .. I'm already confused - where to look and what to think about.
Thanks for the tip with the lens! it seems to me too wide. In the meantime, I will stop at 25 1.7 from Panasonic.

GH4 is lighter and has much longer battery life in other words: Arnie goes down in the final scene ;)
