Errata:
At 18:00, the on-screen text should be “SHARP power”, NOT “Sharm power”
At 21:26, I meant to say: “Its UTILITY is never worn out”.

Wow, shu continues to innovate. Thanks for introducing me to a new hei cha - this type seems quite varied and experimental. Tonight it's sheng for me :)

I remember reading somewhere in Thailand that the hand position, and movement during silk reeling, is supposed to not create turbulence. That smooth movement and correct hand position is necessary so that the hand glides through the air. The fingertips are sensitive enough to feel the air currents passing over them, and that sensing and aligning yourself with the airflow is necessary for proper technique as far as silk reeling practice. Have your heard anything like this?

When you were talking about the sword and Saber it reminded me of a question I have had. Why is it that most straight swords have an image of the big dipper constellation on them? I know there are moves with Seven Stars in the name and I have heard there is significance in Taoism, but am not sure why this is standard on most swords I have seen.

Hello Master Yang. I was very impressed with the Xiang Xing Shu moves you demonstrated. I have a question. Why are these movements so different from Xue Dian's original Xingyiquan? Is this transformation obligatory for all Xingyiquan directions or is it a rare case of style rethinking? Thanks

Greeting Master Yang. I really enjoyed your videos. They are very informative and movements/techniques are excellent. I'm new to your channel and I just subscribed to hopefully learn more in depth of the bagua and xing yi styles so I can better understand the bagua/xing yi techniques. I am a 八步螳螂拳/8 step praying mantis practitioner. I have a question – Are familiar with the these two masters - 王中慶的八卦拳/Wang Zhongqing’s bagua boxing and 陳德善的形意拳/通臂拳 Chen Deshan’s xing yi/tong bei boxing? Around the early years of the Republic of China, they along with 姜化龍/螳螂拳 Jiang Hualong’s praying mantis boxing created the summarized fist sets/摘要路拳(1-6) which became 8 step praying mantis system 八步螳螂拳.
