I think the statement by the doctor is a bit misleading. He makes it sound like people go nuts, strip their clothes off and die of hypothermia all the time. That's not the case. If that were the case, why don't we find frequently find mountain climbers like this, and not just the few? If you read the Missing 411 books you'll see this is part of a strange pattern.
