Originally titled, "Lama Rama Ding Dong", instead of, "Rama Lama Ding Dong". With the success of The Marcels 1961 version of the old standard, "Blue Moon", with it's bass singer intro, similar to the 1958 Edsels recording of, "Rama Lama Ding Dong", caused disc jockeys to start playing the records back to back. Suddenly the forgotten Edsels record, became a hit of 1961, three years after it was recorded.
