this is like the the jackson family honors in 1994 when the only time mj was sorta booed because apparently people payed a lot of money for the tickets to the event and the jackson family (not mj) are known for being greedy (mj and janet cut them off because of this). But mj ended up not performing so the fans got mad but the media made it sound like they booed at mj for his allegations which wasn’t the truth. kinda like what they did here except they never even booed at all in 2006
