Honestly comment sections are such a strange place, there are definitely strange comments everywhere, but they can also be such a nice place. I feel like once you learn to ignore the weird ones, you can learn to enjoy comment sections in their own weird way

For the first segment of this video, those things make me very happy- the fact that there are still people out there that want people to be happy and say things like "Whoever is reading this is amazing." I know that they are **sometimes** just posted to get likes.. But for people like that who sincerely want people to be happy, thank you. ((Also, thank you too Malinda!))

I wonder at times what the psychological effect of trolling and angry commenting might be on those who do it regularly. I've never really seen a study on this, but it strikes me that in a sense, we're a generation of guinea pigs. The anonymity of the internet has changed the way people act towards each other. We know that the human mind is malleable, and a lot of advice has surrounded the concept of positive thinking in order to train our brains to be geared this way. So what happens when people regularly practice negativity? Are they changing themselves for the worse? Some people spend hours every day doing nothing but finding faults in others and trying to injure them. Anyway, this was a neat video idea. I really like that your mom is so invested in learning about this social media world.

I really like at 6:12 when your dad talked about how there really wasn't a reason for him to say that being a youtuber is a dumb idea because all that matters is that you're happy and making a living. My dad tells me that same thing, but he doesn't really mean it and I wish he did. I am studying to be a Pediatric RN right now and my back up plan if I don't get into Nursing School is Audiology. However, for some reason my dad thinks I should be an engineer or an English professor, neither of which peak any interest in me personally despite how many times I've told him that I am passionate for health care. You are so blessed to have such supportive parents.
