I miss so much of this time period. I miss the clothes. I miss the look and style of people. I miss it all. I’m now in my 30s and seeing this just made me almost tear up by how much I miss the past.

Look at how happy those college kids are as they are unable to capture this performance on their non-existent smart phones. Present in the moment. Beautiful.

This is one of the best unplugged episodes in existence

Heard this song for the first time when I was 12.... I'm now 34 and still knew every single word.

Best unplugged sesh's ever. Possibly the best D/C performance ever. Love the crowd. Loved the drummer, loved it all

Danny Bonebreak doesn't get enough credit. He is an excellent bassist, and his propulsive drive always kept D/C in this period solidly rooted in the punk music that emo evolved from. This whole unplugged was really a showcase for just how good Danny's bass playing is, as well as just how good of a pure vocalist and songwriter Chris is.

I love that they actually picked real fans to sing along. It makes all the difference in thus unplugged.

I had this unplugged session on CD and listened to it so much even though I hated live versions of songs back then. This is just so good

I miss mtv unplugged. It felt like a cozy comfortable concert with heart felt renditions of songs. An ode to another time when music was appreciated for lyrics and not for views or likes.

*me listening to Dashboard, my sister hears*
My sister: “You know, I was at this show”
Me: “how did you forget to inform me on this!?”
Her: “I was behind the drummer”
*watches this video, she’s not lying!*

Me at the concert: Chris! Let me play the drums for Remember To Breathe
Chris: You know how to play it?
Me: Yeah! (only knows the 1:20 part)

That moment you realize that all of these people are in their upper 30s, if not 40s.
