Fox mount is obtained from a quest. But you forgot to mention that you have to get a very rare item to actually start that quest.

For those who don't know, Activision put a little of an easter egg in with Xur'ios, a strange vendor in Dalaran. If you're a Destiny player, you'll notice he's a LOT like Xur (appears in different spots, has different loot, etc). Most of the Items that he sells are very Destiny-related such as "Gjallar's Horn", "Ingram's Puzzle", and "Mote of Light". As he sells the Arcadian War Turtle, its description reads: "Bred for destruction by an insane warlord in a far-off land, but at least the seat is warm". The "far-off land" probably being the Destiny universe. Cool little tip I found.

After having so many different mounts collected I must say I love my red gryphon most.

- it fits into the game from a lore perspective
- the size is perfect for my human characters . I dont like fat and large mounts
- its very rare in the skies these days :)

Regarding Spider Mount, it will also be available for 100k gold from the Mad Merchant (one of 4 items he sells) - rare spawn vendor in Dalaran. So you could potentially get it for a lot less IF YOU'RE Lucky :)

In regards to the "long forgotten hippogriff" a group of people recently discovered and unlocked a world boss that May be related to it. No real concrete info yet, but something about a item related to the forgotten hippogriff lead people to discovering the hidden caves, that spawned the world boss.

The lothian prowler isnt via questing necessarily its from the withered army training chests, you get an item that sends you to your order hall, then you goto suramar and get the mount.
