I will occasionally live vicariously through your videos, this is no exception.

In my younger days, I would do campouts with just my knife kit. When I was raising my two boys, we would do “survival kit camps”. Not just to test our kits, but also to test our skills.

Don’t have as much opportunity nowadays, but I still love to build a survival kit around each of my knives.

using guts to bait a line left overnight is another option in survival situation (atached under water for stealth).
another improvement is having 25cm (10") leaders with loop on end pre atached to the hooks/flies. having fished with injured dominant hand (broken wrist) was challenging, having looped leads made it MUCH easier. that made me realise why the aviatior parachute survival kits have that (likely injured pilot feedback)
