In this Helium 10 review I briefly discuss each of my favourite FBA tools and also compare the Xray Chrome extension to Jungle Scout equivalent.

Helium 10 is the first affiliate link I have ever provided on my channel. I have been approached by a number of other companies over the last 9 months who have offered payments in exchange for product reviews, I have turned all of these down as I felt the software wasn't good enough to recommend.

Helium 10 is not perfect but it does offer a wide range of Amazon FBA tools that can be hugely beneficial if used correctly.

The Helium 10 keyword research tools are Magnet 2 and Cerebro. Magnet is a keyword research tool and will generate a list of keywords directly from real Amazon UK data. Cerebro is a reverse ASIN tool and will provide a list of suggested keywords based on the product ASIN (or ASINs) it is analysing (also from genuine Amazon UK data).

In this Helium 10 tutorial I only scratch the surface of the individual tools, I plan to publish more in depth Helium 10 tutorial videos focused on the tools I believe are the most useful.

The Helium 10 product research tool is named Blackbox, this works in a similar way to many other popular product research tools. It allows you to select a marketplace, choose 1 or more categories and then apply a number of filters before returning a list of Amazon products that match that criteria.

Frankenstein is a very useful keyword process, it allows you to quickly process keywords and phrases to form a list that you can use in your product listing - it is great for backend keywords.

Scribbles is a product listing optimiser and it helps ensure that you use all of the keywords and phrases you have found using Cerebro and Magnet in your listings title, bullet points and description.

Keyword Tracker is the tool that initially drew me to Helium 10. It is essential to track your keyword ranks when launching a product so that you can monitor how successfully the launch is going. This tool will check the rank of each keyword once a day and then show whether you rank as improved or not. !

Good timing Darren, I just started using helium 10 too and have been impressed. I think the mis-spelling app is actually more useful than just tell you misspellings - it tells you what misspellings are most common with your product so you can put them in your back end! Not sure how useful it is given Amazon usually auto corrects, but worth a shot I suppose!

Great review Darren! Very useful. Slightly off topic, I watched some videos regarding keyword search for PPC and back end link, some videos are recommending to use amazon auto suggest, keywordtool.io, keyword dominator, sonar, google keywords, etc as free tools for keyword search. In your opinion, do you think its better to combine them with the keyword search from helium 10? Or just use helium 10 at first and see how it goes. What do you think? Many thanks.

Hey Darren Thanks for this walkthrough, I have just canceled my subscription with viral launch and I was just about to sign up with Helium 10 when I got you video on my notification... Definitely I will use your promo code... Just a quick one about the keyword research tool.. I have read on forums that Amazon has shut down the keyword data from their platform and all the data available is from before the shut down which i think was in December... Do you know anything about that?
