Oops! Marjorie Greene Falls For Internet Hoax

The Georgia congresswoman on Monday shared a video purporting to show a mother walking into her son’s classroom, tearing down a Pride flag, and arguing with the teacher. Greene was apparently unaware that the video was staged.

Needs more pushback against the part where she says, "Teachers are paid by taxpayers - THE PARENTS!!!" While parents are taxpayers, not all taxpayers are parents. Many taxpayers are LGBTQ. While the educational system is there to benefit children, it is also there to benefit society as a whole and leaving children completely ignorant of key aspects of the society they will eventually be a larger part of is contrary to both those interests.
