River Man by Nick Drake - Katherine Priddy, Lukas Drinkwater, Jon Nice & Jon Wilks, vid: Jon Hollis

Thanks to everyone who watched our version of Nick Drake's "Northern Sky" last week. Amazingly, we had around 40,000 people tune in over 7 days. Here's a follow-up for you.

This one is a version of "River Man", also by Nick Drake. It features Katherine Priddy on vocals, Lukas Drinkwater on double bass and drums, Jon Nice on keyboards (and production duties) and Jon Wilks on guitar.

The stunning visual presentation was put together by the wonderful VFX artist, Jon Hollis, of Raised by Wolves. We can't thank him enough.

Keep an eye open for a single release of the two tracks, out on all streaming platforms on April 17th. It'll be released under the band name, Slow Jane.

Replacing Nick Drake's brooding 5/4 guitar rhythm and orchestral arrangement with moody electronica and ethereal vocals. Is it folk, jazz, blues, synth? Who knows, who cares. Drake for the 21st century, brilliant!
