The main advantage is the P1S comes with the AMS for color printing and its around a grand for that setup ($950). There are addons for some other printers out there that do give them color, but none are as cheap as the P1S setup, nor as seamless integration either. Its a decent solo color printer but getting a P1S or X1 your getting it for the AMS/Color printing aspect.
