Another eye opening lesson. The woman at the well- no name, just a no hoper, jdowntrodden by the awful cares of this life, walking such a fairly long distance to draw water in the heat of the midday sun, running away from scorn [makes me think of Magdalene as well] only for her to run into the Greatest Teacher ever, the prophet, One who tells you woman about things you never wanted the world to know about yourself, One who loves people and shows how He treated people, the One who is not here to condemn you but to save you.

Regardless of her ( the woman at the well)status, (as we think we know) my ? is, she is seen as being dishonorable ( in our eyes as humans)... but we don't ask how and WHO made her dishonorable and of disrepute. The ones who made her dishonorable are seen as honorable. Women had no voices and were regarded as 2nd class citizens and couldn't control their situations. What a joke!! Thank GOD FOR JESUS. Just a thought, dishonor goes both ways.... blessings ✝️

Jesus, the world's greatest teacher, lover of humanity, and Savior, through His encounter with this Samaritan woman who is in human eyes as low on the totem pole as one can get, illustrates to the entire world the art of successful soul winning. Get the person's *attention, build up their *interest in the gospel message, foster with the Holy Spirit's help a *desire to receive the Gospel and to *act on the Gospel invitation: Come unto me and I will give you living water, rest, and everything that you need.
