Does anyone else think Dio should've gotten a much worse beating, and one that lasted even longer than Steely Dan's? I mean, Steely Dan tortured Jotaro all day and crap, but Dio killed Kakyoin and killed Joseph right in front of him. I dunno, that's just my opinion.

The first thing DIO does when he tries to stop the time is getting his knives ready. He didn't plan punching Jotaro with The World, he planned to throw knives to him. Because he's afraid of getting into Star Platinum's range.

After DIO drinks Joseph's blood, he gets a boost and then feels confident enough to use The World's fists on Jotaro, but Star Platinum punches it so hard DIO's forearms get fucking destroyed. That's also why DIO used the famous roadroller, so that Jotaro and Star Platinum couldn't directly reach him and punch the shit out of him.

TL;DR: Star Platinum is fucking OP and I love it.
