I just watched the part that explains you can only upload work that has not been published before. Does that include YouTube? For example if I wanted to producer narrated version of my serial, with or without added material and using background images. Would that be considered publishing or something else?

Kindle Vella Seriel Stories are too freaking expensive. Where I can purchase a Kindle ebook for $.99 to $11.99. A Vella book run me $12 to $15.00 (20 to 49 tokens a chapter for the books I've read. More 40 to 47 than 20 or 30 tokens a chapter). With a monthly budget of $20 to $50 to spend on physical books/ebooks/audible/Vella. Vella tends to be the more expensive. Some would think Audible would be the more expensive route but it isn't. So far I've purchased two completed Vellas and they'll be my last Vella purchases unless there are some favorable changes for the readers.

I have a full novella story in Vella, not sure if it would be appreciated if I loaded it in here to this posting, but I'm a new author, and the best experience by authors has been those who are already really well known and have years of fans behind them to read what they are doing. Please Amazon KDP can you give us some indication as to when authors from outside of the US will be able to upload to Kindle Vela. I have been writing exclusively for this platform since May and it would be extremely useful if we could have some information. I want to get a special cover designed but can not commit to a six month waiting period for the cover as I want to upload as soon as you open the platform to international authors. If I knew when you were opening the platform I could make a decision. Amazon is after all an international company, come on guys.

Once you've published an episode can you later edit/alter it? For instance if you publish it as just "episode 1" and later decide you want a title to the episode can you change it?
