23. Algebraic geometry - A-schemes and many definitions (Patrick Naylor)

Abstract:
This week, we'll pick up where Diana left off, and continue working through section 5.3. If time permits, we'll start section 5.4. We'll finally be able to make the connection to affine varieties, A-schemes, and schemes of finite type. With any luck, we'll define normal schemes, as well as factorial schemes.
