And yet another reason why we shouldn't, with our usual hubris, muck about with seeding them or attempting to mess with Mama Nature. We have made our bed, messed it, now find we need 'solutions'... Hmmm...

Hi, thanks for the info.
This may be totally irrelevant, but to me as a 76 yo living in Australia, my strong impression is that cloud patterns have changed significantly since I was young. Higher, more streaming etc

The cloud question is not new.
With that uncertainty in mind you cannot say:
"Well - as a scientist - I think +1.5K is fine"
As a scientist you know what an error_bar is....
