The OFFICIAL Roblox FPS UNLOCKER!?

So, it seems Roblox is officially making an FPS Unlocker. We are not sure when this update will release but it sounds promising.

I think it's great they opted the desktop apps to be more like the mobile counterparts, including doing away with x32 bit all together. My hat's off to those struggling to play the game, although. Making all of the Roblox apps similar across devices absolutely speeds up their engineering and workflow.

Awesome! I still do trust the community made FPS unlocker but yeah, an official one is just safe and great for sure!
I just really wish that they would add custom chat keybinds because some users literally need to press numbers on their keyboard where it also does affect your inventory which is quiet annoying.

Why can't they bring back the option to delete textures. Such a cheap and nice option, that would help many players play without lags.

at first, ROBLOX's framerate was capped at 30 FPS back in the very early days (up until the late 2000s) so that it could fit with the old footsteps sound effect, which was meant to fit with multiples of 15/30 FPS. it was increased to 60FPS at some point, but the old footsteps sound effect has been removed for YEARS now and i'm surprised they haven't gotten rid of this ancient feature

why are they developing their own unlocker when they could just add an option in the in-game settings menu to change your FPS to whatever number you want?

Roblox should add advanced graphics to choose Higher render distance without modifying the graphics and vice versa.

Roblox NEEDS optimization badly. It's impossible to flatline my frame time in that game. It's a constant stuttery/jittery experience for me on any graphics setting. It says it's 60 or 144, but it looks and feels like 20fps

I hope they add Vsync options, or the ability to disable it since I use a FreeSync display. The settings are too barebones. Having seperate amience occlusion, AA, shading, render distance, etc would be nice

I avoided playing Roblox bcuz of this. It completely killed my mood for it erry time

RCO wont even work anymore, you add the file and roblox wont start up. So annoying staying in 60 FPS

Ever since I upgraded my gpu, my Roblox fps has been unlocked every single time I join a game, I’m not using fps unlocker or anything similar, Roblox client updated several times as it’s been well over a month, I’ve checked all the programs running and there’s no sign of fps unlocker, sometimes it does get locked to 60 but all I have to do is just leave and rejoin the game, it’ll just work
