This has to be some of the most beautiful desolation I have ever seen. I am sure only a few thousand people of the world have ever had the opportunity to witness this beauty- Thank you for the opportunity to experience these sights.

You can say what you want about sailing channels that focus on summer sun, bikinis and snorkelling with turtles. If they don't have quality content then they become one of the masses and very many of them are very similar.
While those who sail in really wild nature like Erik Aanderaa and others, they have tougher conditions, maybe more difficult to film content but this channel here is absolutely world class, this is National geographic level content. Absolutely fantastic to look at.
Well done

Incredible footage. You two offer us so much fascinating videos. Adventure, wildlife, excitement. Now for us Americans, you even offer us the shooting of guns.
You truly deserve awards for what you bring to us. Growing up, one was fortunate to have such programs as National Geographic, Wild Kingdom, Jacques Cousteau, etc., but your mix
of sincerity and kindness, nautical prowess and technological and nautical savvy, not to mention your skiing and personal relationship with each other, brings things to a whole new level.
Thank you!

The best video yet you've made! The wildlife, the place, the calm and caring way you experience it all. Thanks for taking us all along...

A Finnish person saying they do not know how to shoot is comedy gold 😆. Note the clean shots, clearing the weapon and correct safety control. your a finn you can shoot just fine. Love your channel keep up the good work.

It's a good idea to practice with the shotgun when things are calm and there is no risk.
I would note two things you were doing which might be improved.
1. When firing you should lean forward more with the rear leg straight and the forward knee bent slightly. This will enable you to resist the recoil better.
2. When not firing you should adopt a habit of keeping the muzzle pointing at the sky. Accidental discharges kill people. I was pleased to see both of you checking the gun was clear after you fired off the cartridges. That's also a good habit.
Great adventure. I am very jealous.

We are always sad to see the end of an episode. The rugged beauty, your cinematograph is far beyond any other Utube channel I've experienced as a member. Sophie is so cute "waiting for men" seems natural. Thanks again, simply magnificent, you both are so fortunate to have decided on this Northwest Passage endeavor. Be SAFE!😀😀

I have followed your channel for a while. Interesting that you are sailing in the lands of my ancestors. Across from Sand Point is the old native village of Unga. My great grandfather is buried there. He was born in Kenai in 1851. You have really lucked out with the weather Shelikoff strait can be especially nasty especially where it joins Cook Inlet. I have the same shotgun, and it is the most reliable one. I am almost 80 and in many years of hunting, flying and generally getting out an about in Alaska I have never had to shoot a bear. its a different story with polar bear, they really have no enemies in the polar regions. Everything on the ice is their prey. Now with the ice going their normal food supplies are dwindling. They are moving onto land and its anybody's guess how they will act One was killed outside of Fort Yukon which was far inland.

Your filming and composition are outstanding- this is one of the absolute best travel channels- thank you for all of your had work editing. Filming or shooting is very pleasurable; however, editing is a less enjoyable part of being a filmmaker, but can be the most important. Outstanding work!!

I spent seven years sailing in these waters. They truly are some of the most beautiful places in the world. One person who sailed and worked with us described the Aleutians as a cross between Ireland and the moon...

Juho, the way Sohvi turned to you @11:02 or so when you started complaining about the rocky shore was amusing. 😁

This channel is slowly becoming the sailing channel on youtube.

I watch sailing la vagabonde and similar channel for the aesthetics of it all but I watch channel for love of high seas and sailing.

is hard to understand why you dont have 5x more views and subscribers, the amount of camera and editing work you do to achieve this quality is paramount. just thanks for producing all this, i hope one day you can make a film out of this and you get to sail in Cannes to present it :)
