Ollie Bearman: Just Getting Started | F1 Beyond The Grid Podcast

Points on his surprise F1 debut with Ferrari. Another top 10 with Haas. Ollie Bearman has made a flying start in Formula 1. In 2025 with Haas, he’s got the chance to show what he can do every race weekend.

Ollie tells Tom Clarkson about stepping up from Formula 2, handling the pressure when he got the last-minute call to race for Ferrari in Saudi Arabia, the advice Charles Leclerc gave him, and how his race for Haas in Azerbaijan felt different.

He remembers moving from the UK to go racing in Italy, and looks forward to starting his first full F1 season.

Seeing his dad beeing so close to him is really heartwarming, it kinda tears me up thinking about it because my dad saddly took his own life last week. So thinking about bearmens dad watching him race and doing such a great job is actually beautiful.

To hear that the first thing that comes to mind when he thinks of being a leader is “someone people can depend on” makes me really admire him. He’s very mature for someone his age. Honestly he seems more mature than some drivers on the grid who are certainly not his age

I'm loving seeing these young Rookies getting on the grid. Franco, Ollie, Oscar, kimi, Liam. I hope Franco and Liam can get on the grid next year. Also it makes me so happy to see Lewis coming up to the rookies after the races and giving them their props. I can't imagine what it'd be like to race against people like Lewis, Max and Fernando.

Hopefully in the future, Formula One will let us see duels between new talents like Colapinto and Bearman, or Lawson and Antonelli... we will see the new generation that is coming
