Lyrics by skiffle pioneer Lonnie Donegan, R&B heavyweight Fats Domino, and rock 'n' roller Elvis Presley made up their early set list. Even after George Harrison and Paul McCartney became members of the band, they stuck to covering songs by known artists like Duane Eddy, Carl Perkins, and The Everly Brothers.
