Wish I could post pictures of today's pick from my garden. Picked around 30 green peppers, squash, tomatoes broccoli some onions and some different types of lettuce and spinach for a awesome salad. Plus poured a quart of my honey 🍯 from my Flow Hives that are amazing built in Australia. Flow Hives are great for people as it's very easy to raise and harvest your honey.

I love how in the nuclear PSA for NYC that they basically just said go inside and watch the news, as if there isn’t an emp that would wipe out all electronics/communications. Imagine being in New York if there was a nuclear strike, it would be utter chaos

The 80s were my best. I was 16 in 1980. I had a live in girlfriend for the entire decade started in 1980.I made surfboards for my living.graduated from high school in 82. I made 100k a year at 19 years old making surfboards. and drove a brand new carrera porche in 85.
In 91 i mostly retired and have been sailing around the world ever since. But the 80s were my best. 90s were pretty damn good too. But since 2000 its been a much harder life. And since 2020 its been pretty damn depressing. But still sailing solo still surfing and still free. Not vaxed and no testing.

We live in Germany. Our gas bill has increased from €79 a month to €379 and I’m expecting it to get worse if Russia doesn’t turn the pipeline back on. Our house has only heated floors powered by gas. To avoid using it this winter we’ll be using electric radiators and electric blankets. My neighbors who have wood burning stoves have been stockpiling wood and won’t be turning on the their gas this year. I feel like the electrical grid will be stressed this winter if millions switch to electric for heat. Possible power outages. We’re prepping for all scenarios.

I work in the natural gas industry on the “retail”, or customer side. Please people, if you are going to supplement the heat in your house with propane heaters, MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURES DIRECTIONS! The one caveat, even if the unit says “VENTLESS”, open a damn window. I can not tell you how many Carbon Monoxide calls I go on every winter where people are close to DYING because of these things. Be careful…oh, and never use your gas oven as a heat source!!! Those puppies are DANGEROUS and are not meant to be vented into your living space.

The Oregon Air National Guard has been running exercises daily in tight formation.
When I was a kid, you’d only see one f-15 in the sky every now and then.
Today, I saw 7 f-15’s flying over east county. I drive a truck for a living, so I’m out and about, and I pay attention.
They have upped the frequency in a noticeable way. And this has been a daily occurrence since February.

With the PSA the phrase 'you got this' also suggests you're on your own. The onus will be on each person/family and help won't be coming. The phrase 'WE got this' would have been different. They know they can't/won't be able to control this. That PSA was basically a 'good luck to you'.

This is just the beginning of sorrows. Just as in birthing the pain is intermittent and manageable but it grows, grows, grows, until it becomes terrible and incessant, intense, unrelenting continuous horrors and destruction of both nature, weather, storms, famines, pestilence, earthquakes, war and deaths. Preparation will never be enough, planning is a futility when the ways of man is coached in death and damnation. Trust in God alone, seek His guidance, damn the torpedoes and speed ahead.

I'm not an optimist, nor am I a pessimist, I'm a realist. I deal with today and assume 'the only constant in life is change' and I am prepared to do what is necessary. I simply cannot worry about tomorrow or next month because there is nothing I can do. Today is a beautiful day here on the island. At present, I have food, water, utilities and life is fabulous.

The 80s sucked? I'm an 80s baby and it was an amazing time to grow up, before all the woke nonsense and the Internet. Kids were far happier than they are now, and you could still support a family well on one income.

I have tried to get friends and neighbours to prep for years, but they think I'm a loony old lady and view me with patronising affection. They still think it's all one big conspiracy theory and that the government know what they are doing. All I can do is pray for them, they are going to have a hard winter and most of them have children. I think they are afraid to admit what's coming, they would rather not look at it. A bit like not wanting to open a letter with a demand for payment in it. Here in the UK the situation grows worse as every day passes but it has been so gradual that it's only now that people are beginning to wake up, but sadly it's too little too late. Thank you for the work you're doing.
