Ponant has a fantastic private yachting feeling, a really sophisticated elegance and chic all of its rivals don't have... and don't forget about its skipper "Le Ponant" - OMG! Le Commandant Charcot, Le Ponant and their " sisters" are " la crême de la crême" ...

Been on the new Apex twice and just saw the video on the Beyond which we are on in the fall. The Beyond is even more modern and tasteful. Nothing really comes close at any price point and at the high high end you get a lot of old, old, people, very old. An althernatve might be the newe Virgin ships if you are younger but they are not cheap, a lot more than the Apex and Beyond and there is no big showtime entertainment. Stick with the Apex and Beyond thay are superb in all ways. All ways. And I love the infinte verandah. Adds a lot of depth to the room . Just my two cents. Just got back from the new Wonder of The Seas tranatliantic and the depth breath and variety of entertaiment cannob be matched as well as the openness and spaciousness off the vessel. Nothing comes close. The food in the Specialty restaurants is real good. Had lobster in Hooked on Seafood on the 16 level. There was so much lobster that I should not have eatern it all but once in my life I wanted to do this.
