This exact situation happend to a friend of mine. Well not exactly like that but he was claiming he could play Children of bodom easily. So nobody have actually seen him play except some recordings he was sending to mutual friends. So one night we chilling like 20 people on a house {Yay student parties LOL} And one of my friends he was a guitar player so he pulls up a flying v Jackson guitar and hes like oh dude can you show me how to play Bed of razors? {Was the song he was claiming he could play} Turns out he admited he was lying and just barerly could play only powerchords with the top strings. {Well on a good note my friend eventually teach him guitar and we remember this and laughing of how stupid we where as kids for just attention}
