There was a lady who was playing and she just went around the map, would stop in front of a random person, and just punch them in the face, and then run away. She would just laugh every time! She even looked at her controller to make sure she was hitting the right button.

My sister is 6 years older than me, A plus student, very straight edge and never played video games in her life. GTA 4 just came out, she asked me one day if she could try it, I handed her the controller and went to the bathroom.



Coming back I find her sitting at a red light, and instantly started laughing my ass off. She was following traffic laws the entire time in a GTA game. Nearly killed me.

I remember my dad when I let him drive a car in GTA 4 for the first time. Most of rhe games he played when he was younger were FPS like Quake or Half Life. Needless to say he crashed into a lot of shit and ran people over, and actually not on purpose lmfao! It was hilarious.

Yeah that's the point, ma'am. It's more exciting and fun that way. It's different than the mundane day to day everyone has to slog through.

There was a study done with how boys and girls play with toys and is very telling of why a lot of games trying to reach the female audience just doesnt hit right sometimes for the majority of the gaming playerbase which is predominantly men.

The study showed that the boys would play with superheroes or military figures and imagine themselves as the character doing these heroic action all in character. whearas the girls conformed the doll to their vision ; e.g they made the gi joes and the superheroes play teatime or go shopping or things that they found entertaining and just twisting the figure into whatever fantasy they had in their mind.
