Electric Pickup Truck?! Today I review the brand new all electric Ford F-150 lightning and discuss over 30 cool and interesting features, quirks, and Easter eggs of this over $90,000 truck. This one specifically is the Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum; however, a lot of what I discuss is either standard or available on other trim levels of the F 150 lightning including the F 150 Lightning Pro so I suggest you stick around to learn about all of the cool features of these trucks. Love my Lightning, it’s the best 150 I’ve owned, but smaller dealers don’t have anyone certified to work it and larger dealers may only have one

No one is waiting 8-10 hours to charge on a long trip. At home, potentially. Tons of fast chargers out there but yes, towing sucks still.

Stellantis is promising the 2025 Ram 1500 REV will have a battery with a 500 mile range (top tier price point). If they can make that happen I think it will help push Ford to find ways to improve the Lightning's range in future years to also 500 miles range, or better. Towing affects EV trucks the same way affects gas or diesel engine trucks, the only difference is you can get those ICE trucks with such large tanks that they can get 400+ miles (before towing). When the Lightning gets 500 miles before towing it will compete well with ICE versions.

When people who have a coal powered EV vehicle find out after 2 years it's worth 40% less and it's resale value is terrible it won't be so great not to mention the cost of replacing the batteries in a few years. JUNK
