Hyram, La-Roche Posey and Avene are extremely pricey in MANY COUNTRIES! I live in Armenia. Their products stay on shelves in our drugstores along with Topicrem. Even here people opt for Korean skincare brands because they are high-quality and affordable.

I’ve always wanted to be a skincare specialist/ esthetician (I’m going to school for it soon😁) and you truly have helped me with that journey too, you taught me about ingredients and Spf. I love Mario Badescu’s drying lotion. You stick a qtip to the pink stuff at the bottom and apply the product to a pimple. It dries it out and it’s a staple for me.

I LOVE the Ole Hendrickson brightening/banana (whatever) eye cream. It really does brighten and helps with the redness under my eyes. It’s a really reasonable price point, too. I’m pretty sure you mentioned it in a recent video. Thanks so much for revisiting these brands, it’s super helpful!

I love the naturium vitamin c and glycolic body wash!!! My favorite body wash!!! The launch controversy was not enough to put me off this brand bc of what hyram stated; it’s affordable, accessible and is great from a formulation standpoint!!

I started watching Susan Yara's videos around the time Naturium was launched and IMHO I think people were making too big a deal with them being "shady, " when I didn't really perceive any malicious intent. Their niacinamide serum was the first product I tried from them and was my first serious introduction into active ingredients. I feel like at the time the brand really filled a hole in the market of "single-active" serums that were more cosmetically elegant than the Ordinary, but more affordable than PC. I've come back to the brand a few times since then and have always been impressed with their accessibility, fragrance-free formulas, and the way they are able to combine actives and still have really nice and effective products.

Aveeno has always been good though especially their eczema products and their restorative skin therapy line which is amazing. We just need more plastic free options and sunscreen put into tins or paper packing but also use chemical sunscreens not just mineral formulas in tins and paper packing. Please can we normalize paper and and aluminum packaging even more in 2022 and 2023 and lets get more people to talk about it.

Aveeno oat calm and restore moisturiser is the only moisturiser that doesn’t irritate my skin and Actually feels soo calm on my sensitive skin, I LOVE It. Thanks for recommending it
