We’re excited to share some big news and a major life update! We moved to Arizona! I’m recapping this crazy busy time in our lives as we search for a new place to call home in Tucson and pack up and move our entire home from Colorado to Arizona in just two weeks.

I’ve lived all over—Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Connecticut, Maryland, South America, Germany, and Arizona—and the place I can’t wait to move back to is Tucson. It’s where my heart is. You are right, for people who like to be outdoors year round, the Tucson area is the place to be. Would trade frigid snowy Midwest/East Coast winters for a hot Tucson summer any day!

If you guys ever have any questions about AZ life, the wife and I have lived in the SE corner of Maricopa County for the last 14 years and are pretty resourceful and knowledgeable of the area. I'm watching these out of order, but I'm curious, why did you two move out of Colorado - just for a change of scenery - to experience the desert? I lived in Tucson for 5 years during college. It took me an entire year to get used to it but I did enjoy it for the time I was there but I knew it wouldn't be our forever home. It was WAY too hot during the Summers. We were young and couldn't afford a second home somewhere that was cooler to go to for 4-5 months out of the year like the snowbirds. Now 20 years later, we have a teenage son there attending the U of Arizona. Let's just he loves coming home to San Diego during the Summers. :)
