75 years ago, the most famous act of armed Jewish resistance during the Holocaust occurred in the Warsaw ghetto. In the spring of 1943, 750 ghetto fighters fought the Nazis for nearly a month. The markers of their final stand of resistance are found throughout the city.

When the uprising was deafeated, more than 56,000 Jews were captured from the ghetto. 7,000 were shot. The remainder were deported to camps. Today, we remember.
