Kruggsmash's new videos makes me feel like a kid watching the D&D cartoon on Saturday mornings.

I appreciated the time jump, keeps things fresh and makes Tinny's death seem more impactful. Slowly letting through a trickle of other characters sounds like a great way to continue this story.

As a father of a 2yo…this hits hard.
To imagine raising my daughter if my wife wasn’t here- the sad void of her never knowing her mother.
To tell her stories of her mom…
To see her wrinkles her nose when she laughs just like her…
the identical red hair…
To look at her face and see the ghost of your spouse there everyday. 💔

I have watched hundreds of dwarves ripped apart as a Beast rampaged thru a fort because I forgot to lock a door without batting an eye. I have NEVER been so emotionally distraught by the loss of a Dwarf before.

the eight year jump worked really well. it really conveyed the shock of loss and that feeling of waking up years later and realizing, yeah, life kept going and you've made it through somehow

Emmy's "little fortress" is SO cute, I love the idea of dwarves making playrooms for their children. Their family home is really lovely, I feel like between the in-home workshops and the separate space for their child, it's the model of what any dwarven couple would aspire to.

I have a sinking feeling in my gut that by the end of this tale, that opening cinematic is going to be very depressing, with several gaps where old friends used to dance and revel. Idrath protect them.

Just realizing that a dwarven mini forge toy is like an easy-bake oven. So cute.

"He's seeing if he can get his hands on some sweetpods" the way the hairs on the back of my neck immediately rose upon hearing the title of the episode dropped while Boggy is taking a solo trip into the caverns...

I must confess, your concept for the goddess of death being an artist with souls providing the hues to paint the world and its history... It's beautiful.

I like to think that Tinny provided a wonderful hue all her own and her time on the mortal plane influenced the hues of others to be remarkable as well. Something to be treasured and made careful use of.

Man.. Krugg is truly the only one who is able to make me feel such emotions about funny little pixelated dwarves.

Disabled dwarves need more love. They definitely need to add a way to allow dwarves to assist disabled dwarves.

In the depths where hunters lay
And keep the beasts of old at bay
One has faced her final prey
In the depths where hunters lay

I like the idea of the dwarves losing that idea of monster hunting as being something fun or full of glory, but rather, as something very dangerous that is to be avoided. They were being constantly atacked by forgoteen beasts and lost their friend to one, it would make sense for then to lose that desire for battle.
It would also make sense that a loss would make them desire more people to come to the fortress, as a way to fill the void left by Tiny.

… As a mortician, I greatly appreciate this thoughtful representation on the subject of carrying on after a devastating loss. It was one of the most poignant personification of death as a concept I’d seen as of late. Thank you, Krugg. May your brush continue to blossom forth with ever vibrant hues of life well lived as well. >):’^]

I genuinely teared up when they found Tinny. And your poetic description of the god of death and how your dwarfs see it... absolutely heart-rending. Fantastic work.

Wisp is clinging to her armour and refusing all aid because she doesn't want to rot away, she wants a warriors death.
As sad as it would be it would be cool asl to see her try to kick some forgotten beast to death
